NatuGena HydroVitamine contains the full spectrum of B-vitamins in 14 compounds, alongside vitamin C.

What is the role of the B-vitamin complex in HydroVitamine?

HydroVitamine provides a complete B-vitamin profile from B1 to B15, including rarer compounds like orotic acid and pangamic acid.
Vitamins thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pantothenic acid (B5), vitamin B6, biotin and B12 support normal energy metabolism and the nervous system.
Folic acid (B9) supports normal blood formation and cell division.
Vitamins B6, B12, folate and choline contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism.
Folate (B9) also contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
Pangamic acid, orotic acid, PABA (B10), inositol (B8) and choline (B4) broaden the spectrum of B vitamins and complement the diversity of natural micronutrients.

Why is buffered vitamin C especially valuable?

HydroVitamine contains vitamin C in buffered form as magnesium ascorbate, making it gentle on the stomach and well tolerated.
Vitamin C helps protect cells from oxidative stress, supports the immune system, and contributes to energy metabolism.

What is special about the B vitamins in HydroVitamine?

Bioactive forms such as riboflavin-5-phosphate, pyridoxal-5-phosphate and 5-methyltetrahydrofolate are directly utilised by the body without further conversion.
Our B vitamins are derived through fermentation from corn.
Unlike synthetic vitamins, they are created through biochemical processes similar to those in the human body, promoting efficient nutrient use.

Consumption recommendation

Take 3 capsules once a day, or alternatively 1 capsule in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. It is best to take them at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or, if preferred, with the juice of half a freshly squeezed lemon.

Just one capsule a day covers your regular daily requirement of vitamins B and C. Higher doses may be necessary to compensate for a deficiency or for specific therapeutic use.

Notes

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of small children. Store closed, in a cool, dry place away from light. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake stated.

Not a medicinal product

Food supplement: Do not exceed the recommended daily intake stated. Not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Pure substance principle

Only active ingredients (no excipients, no colorants, according to the law no preservatives, no technological additives such as binding and separating agents, no hidden additives, free of gluten, flavor enhancers, lactose, flavors, soy).

Legal notice

This product is for nutritional purposes and therefore does not affect the Heilmittelwerbegesetz (HWG). Good nutritional status is important for your general well-being. All statements made about the product describe properties and physiological effects that may naturally vary among consumers and do not represent any healing or health promises.

We work with the independent laboratory AgroLab, which we commission to perform microbiological and heavy metal tests.

In our microbiological testing, we measure the aerobic mesophilic plate count (total plate count), as well as the levels of Escherichia coli (E. coli), yeasts, Salmonella, molds, and staphylococci.

For heavy metals, we test for arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury in accordance with the limit values specified in Regulation (EU) 2023/915.

The optimal time to take a supplement depends on the specific nutrient, individual tolerance, and the composition of the product. However, some ingredients can be particularly well suited to certain times of day or meals.

In the morning

Stimulating ingredients are often preferably taken in the morning or during the first half of the day. These include, for example:

  • Coenzyme Q10
  • Green tea extract
  • Certain B vitamins

Especially for sensitive individuals, it may be advisable to avoid taking stimulating ingredients immediately before bedtime.

Throughout the day

For some nutrients, it may be beneficial to divide the daily amount into several doses.

Water-soluble vitamins such as B vitamins and vitamin C can be taken throughout the day.

Magnesium can also be divided into several doses rather than taking the entire daily amount at once. This may improve tolerance, particularly with higher amounts.

In the evening

Depending on the type of magnesium compound, taking it in the evening may be beneficial. Magnesium glycinate, for example, is often preferably taken in the evening.

In general, however, the best time to take a product also depends on when it is individually best tolerated and can be reliably incorporated into your daily routine.

With a meal

Some nutrients benefit from being taken together with a meal.

Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K can be taken together and ideally with a meal containing some fat.

Omega-3 fatty acids should also be taken regularly with a meal. Omega-3 oils can be combined well with fat-soluble vitamins.

Many plant-based ingredients can also be taken as part of a meal or together with omega-3 products. However, the optimal timing depends on the specific plant compound and product formulation.

Zinc can cause nausea or stomach discomfort on an empty stomach in some people. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is therefore advisable to take zinc with a meal.

Between meals

Iron is often taken separately from meals, as various foods and beverages can affect its absorption. It is particularly advisable to leave a gap between iron and:

  • Coffee and tea
  • Caffeinated beverages
  • Milk and dairy products
  • Calcium- or mineral-rich supplements

However, if you have a sensitive stomach, iron can also be taken with a meal. In this case, individual tolerance is more important than a theoretically optimal intake situation.

Enzyme supplements vary depending on their intended use: digestive enzymes are generally taken with meals. Products that are specifically intended to be taken between meals may, for example, be taken around 30 minutes before a meal. The product's specific recommended intake should always be followed.

Around exercise

Proteins and amino acids can be taken both before and after training.

If you exercise on an empty stomach, taking them around 30 minutes before training may be beneficial. If you have already eaten a protein-rich meal, you can also plan your protein intake for after training.

In general, ensuring sufficient protein intake throughout the entire day is more important than adhering to a narrow time window around your workout.

The optimal duration of use depends on the specific nutrient, your initial situation, diet, and individual requirements.

There is therefore no one-size-fits-all recommendation for how long a product should be taken. For products intended to support nutrient intake over a longer period, use over several weeks to months may be appropriate. In many cases, a period of around three months may be suitable before nutrient status and further requirements are reassessed.

In the case of diagnosed deficiencies, medical conditions, or the use of medication, the use of supplements should be individually discussed with a doctor or qualified healthcare professional.

We offer a range of different products for children:

  • Drops
All-Rounders

For children and teenagers, we recommend the delicious Wowtamins gummies. They contain vitamins as well as zinc, iodine, selenium, and omega-3.

If omega-3 is taken separately as a liquid oil, wowtamins KIDS Multi Gummies can be used without omega-3 for children aged 4–9.

Nutrient support is particularly easy for children with our all-rounder MultiVegan – one capsule already contains 200 mg calcium, 3 mg iron, 50 µg iodine, 20 µg selenium, 2 mg zinc, and vitamins B2, B9, and B12.

Immune System

Curcuma Liquid is a delicious juice containing a phyto-complex with vitamin C and 95% curcuminoids. Our Immune Set provides all important vitamins and trace elements for the immune system as a value set.

Colostrum contains important immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, and IgM). It is obtained from the first milk of mammals. Colostrum is also well suited for children.

Gut and Digestion

MukosaRepair Powder contains, among other ingredients, L-glutamine, aloe vera, and licorice root (DGL). The formula with plant extracts is traditionally used to support mucous membranes (e.g. in the gut) and has a pleasantly sweet taste thanks to stevia – making it suitable for children as well.

BactoGena Liquid Plus is a liquid herbal ferment containing bioactive enzymes, 33 selected microorganisms, and 20 organically grown herbs. It is suitable for adults, children from the age when complementary foods are introduced, and pregnant women. Not suitable for people with histamine intolerance. Alternatively, BactoGena Liquid Pur is also available without the herbal taste.

Minerals

If there is an increased need for minerals, the gummies can be supplemented with Magnesium Malate & Glycinate. This product has the smallest capsule size of our magnesium products.

For an increased need for iron, we offer wowtamins Iron Gummies. Alternatively, you can choose our Vegan Iron or Liposomal Iron.

OrgaMin Powder provides a comprehensive spectrum of 14 different minerals. The measuring spoon allows for flexible dosing, and the powder can be mixed with water.

Vitamins & Omega

Omega Kids Vegan was specifically developed for children aged 4 and over. It provides 284 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per daily serving (2.5 ml) and also contains 400 IU of vitamin D.

Vitamin D may be beneficial for children. We offer different dosage forms (drops, tablets, and capsules) – see our vitamin D products.

Our vitamin B complex, HydroVitamins, offers flexibility with 3 small capsules, which can also be opened. For vitamin B12, we offer a liquid product with a convenient 10 µg per drop for flexible dosing.

Dosage

In general, the recommended intake stated on the packaging applies to adults. Since children’s nutrient requirements vary depending on age, body weight, diet, and individual circumstances, the use and dosage of our products should be discussed with the treating pediatrician in advance. Please note that not all ingredients and products are suitable for children. Suitability should therefore always be professionally assessed on an individual basis.

Many capsules can generally be opened and their contents mixed into food or a drink, such as (coconut) yogurt, applesauce, or mashed potatoes. However, this should not be used as a basis for independently determining the dosage for children.

For drops as well, the amount and frequency of intake for children should be determined individually based on tolerance and need, in consultation with a healthcare professional.
