What is nattokinase?

Nattokinase is an enzyme found in the traditional Japanese food natto, which has been valued as a staple food in Japan for centuries. Natto is known for its strong, savoury flavour and sticky, slightly mucilaginous consistency. It is made by fermenting unpeeled green soybeans with the bacterium Bacillus subtilis.

What’s in natto?

Natto is rich in high-quality plant proteins, vitamin K, fibre, essential amino acids, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium and iron. Nattokinase is a protease made up of 275 amino acids. Proteases are enzymes that break down proteins.

What is the role of vitamin C?

Our NattoKinase capsules also include cocoa extract with 50% flavanols and vitamin C from the camu camu fruit. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels. It also supports the normal function of the immune system.

Recommended Intake

2 capsules once a day. For best results, take at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or, alternatively, with a teaspoonof omega-3 oil to increase bioavailability.
