MakroAktiv®

Our microbiome consists of 100,000 billion bacteria. That's about 100 times more bacteria than body cells. In total, our microbiome makes up one to two kilograms of our body weight. The vast majority of these bacteria are found in the gastrointestinal tract.

Our product MakroAktiv consists mainly of lactic acid bacteria, it contains 6 different non-histamine-forming bacterial strains (44 billion germs). The enteric-coated capsules made of cellulose protect the physiological bacterial cultures from the low pH in the stomach and the digestive enzymes. They open in the first section of the small intestine to spread from there towards the large intestine.

The formula is enriched with vitamins, colostrum (30% IgA) and chondroitin sulphate. 50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D and 450 µg (417 IU) of vitamin A boost the immune system. The included oleic acid serves as a carrier molecule to increase the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins D3, K2 (MK7) and A 

Colostrum contains important immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG and IgM) that support the body as immune factors. In addition, the first milk also contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids. Colostrum is pure preferential milk from the cow, whereby we follow the ethical guideline and only use surplus preferential milk from absolutely species-appropriate husbandry.  Colostrum is virtually lactose-free (<0.01g/100g) through natural lactose splitting and is gently freeze-dried (not spray-dried). Chondroitin sulphate (bovine) is an important building material for bones, cartilage and connective tissue.
