It belongs to the group of glycosaminoglycans and is characterised by its ability to bind water. This property contributes to the natural suppleness of these structures.

Why is molecular size important for hyaluronic acid?

This product uses low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (HyaMax®), standardised to approximately 0.008 kilodaltons. A kilodalton (kDa) is a unit used to describe molecular mass and indicates the size of individual hyaluronic acid chains. This particularly fine molecular size makes the hyaluronic acid highly soluble and allows for uniform processing within the capsule. HyaMax® is obtained from plant-based raw materials and meets high-quality standards.
