Pink & vegan: beetroot hummus with omega-3

Especially those who avoid animal proteins will find chickpeas a healthy and inexpensive meat substitute, as they are an extremely versatile legume. They are rich in fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals, making them a great addition to a balanced diet.

Today we're showing you a delicious and healthy recipe for beetroot hummus, which is a delicious variation on classic hummus. The natural sweetness and light earthiness of the beet gives it a unique flavor. You don't need much more than chickpeas, beet, tahini, olive oil, spices and our vegan omega-3 oil.

Preparation

  1. Chop the pre-cooked beet.

  2. Drain the chickpeas and place in a bowl.

  3. Place all the ingredients in a bowl. Then puree until the desired creaminess is achieved.
