Buffered vitamin C is ideal for sensitive individuals as it has an almost neutral pH value and thus achieves an effect that is gentle on the stomach.

Vitamin C is one of the most important water-soluble vitamins along with the B vitamins. As an "antioxidant vitamin" it significantly protects the cells from oxidation processes. Vitamin C plays a key role in collagen synthesis and is therefore important in building and maintaining skin, connective tissue, bones and teeth.
