How are bromelain and papain obtained?

Bromelain is traditionally extracted from the stem and juice of the pineapple plant. In Bromelain 1200, it comes from plant-based fermentation and is gently processed. This tropical fruit, originally from South America, was especially valued by indigenous peoples for its sweet taste. Papain is obtained from the ripe papaya fruit and was already appreciated by the Maya. Lipase is microbially derived from plant-based raw materials and complements the enzyme complex as a fat-splitting enzyme.

What are enzymes?

Enzymes are natural protein compounds found in all living organisms. They belong to the group of biological catalysts and enable specific chemical conversions in the body. This includes, for example, breaking down larger food components into smaller building blocks that the body can absorb.

Recommended intake

1 capsule once a day. Ideally, take it at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water.
