What makes chlorella so special?

Chlorella is a single-celled green freshwater alga that naturally occur in freshwater environments. Among the best-known types are Chlorella pyrenoidosa and Chlorella vulgaris. They are valued for their naturally broad nutritional profile including vitamins, minerals, proteins and amino acids. The chlorella algae used in this product are sustainably cultivated in Germany in enclosed basins.

What is micronised seaweed pectin?

Seaweed pectin is a plant-based, soluble dietary fibre derived from specific types of marine algae. Pectins are well known for their wide-ranging properties and naturally occur in many plants. Our micronised seaweed pectin is gently processed using a special technique and pressed into convenient tablets –without artificial additives. The fine micronisation enhances bioavailability.

 

Consumption recommendation

Take 15 tablets in the evening, ideally with 250 ml of lukewarm water. Please leave at least 1 hour between taking this product and other supplements or medicines. It is best to take the tablets at least 2 hours before or after a meal. Alternatively, you can take 15 tablets spread throughout the day.

Does chlorella algae contain iodine? How much iodine does TriTox contain? Does it contain heavy metals?

Our products are regularly and carefully tested microbiologically, and checks are also carried out for possible contamination from residues, plasticisers, pesticides and heavy metals. Chlorella is a freshwater algae and is cultivated in special organic fermenters. Thanks to the closed system, there is no contact with fish or seawater, and no heavy metals, microplastics or other marine pollutants can enter our algae.
Unlike sea algae, chlorella contains hardly any iodine, as it is a freshwater algae. This means that you can also benefit from the healthy properties of chlorella algae if you have an overactive thyroid. Please allow at least 1 hour between taking this product and other supplements or medicines. It is best to take it at least 2 hours before or after a meal. See recommended intake.
Chlorella algae contains less than 70 micrograms of iodine per 100 grams.
