NatuGena Q10 Ubiquinol – High-dose ubiquinol in a liposomal formulation with up to 6.2× greater bioavailability compared to conventional coenzyme Q10. Easy dosing with a practical spray head and pleasantly mild natural orange oil flavour. 20 ml provide approximately 144 sprays, enough for 30 days.
- Ubiquinol – bioactive form of Q10: Unlike ubiquinone, no conversion is required, it is available directly to the body
- Liposomal technology: Fine oil-in-water emulsion with ultra-small droplets and no nanoparticles
- Increased bioavailability: Up to 6.2× higher than conventional coenzyme Q10
- Phospholipids from soy lecithin: Stabilise the emulsion and support absorption of the fat-soluble compound
- Pleasant and easy to use: With natural orange oil for a mild taste experience
- Milky emulsion: The cloudy colour is a mark of quality – caused by the Tyndall effect of the liposomes, similar to milk
- 20 ml spray bottle: A practical travel-sized format
- Made in Germany: Exceptional purity and bioavailability for optimal nutrient uptake
What is coenzyme Q10 and why is ubiquinol especially valuable?
Coenzyme Q10, also known as ubiquinol, is a vitamin-like substance produced by the body and involved in numerous biological processes. It plays an important role in the mitochondria – the “powerhouses” of the cell – where it supports the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), essential for energy supply.
NatuGena Q10 contains only ubiquinol – the bioactive, fully reduced form of coenzyme Q10. In contrast to its oxidised form (ubiquinone), it no longer requires enzymatic activation. As we age or under increased physiological demand, the body’s ability to convert ubiquinone may decline – making direct supplementation with ubiquinol especially beneficial.
Why liposomal?
The liposomal technology in Q10 Ubiquinol is based on a fine oil-in-water emulsion without solid nanoparticles. Ubiquinol is present in microscopically small droplets that are especially well absorbed by the mucous membranes. The included soy lecithin provides valuable phospholipids that help stabilise the emulsion and optimise the uptake of Q10.
One spray delivers 4.2 mg of ubiquinol, which corresponds to the effect of approximately 26 mg of conventional coenzyme Q10 – a bioavailability factor of 6.2. With 6 sprays per day, the intake amounts to 156 mg of ubiquinol. Thanks to this optimised absorption, only one-sixth of the usual amount is required to make the same dose bioavailable. Sublingual administration allows ubiquinol to enter the bloodstream directly – bypassing the digestive tract.
Why is the liquid milky?
The milky appearance of the spray is a quality feature of the liposomal formulation. This so-called Tyndall effect is caused by light scattering on the tiny liposomes, similar to what happens in milk. It indicates that the product is well-dispersed and homogeneous.
