Colostrum, also referred to as first milk, is the nutrient-rich secretion produced by mammals in the first hours after birth. Proteins, enzymes, vitamins and minerals, as well as immunoglobulins IgA, IgG and IgM, provide newborns with essential nutrients that are crucial for the development of the immune system. NatuGena Colostrum is made from bovine colostrum, which shares 99% of its composition with human colostrum. It contains 30% immunoglobulins and is formulated for functional bioavailability.

How is NatuGena Colostrum produced?

Cows naturally produce more colostrum than their calves require. We only use the surplus, ethically sourced from controlled and species-appropriate farming. Strict ethical standards are upheld, and only excess colostrum is collected. To preserve the sensitive proteins, the colostrum is carefully freeze-dried rather than heat-treated. Thanks to natural milk sugar breakdown, colostrum is virtually lactose-free (<0.01g/100g).
