The upper digestive tract is a sensitive area of the body. It is not only where food intake begins, but also where the complex interaction between mucous membranes, gastric acid and microorganisms takes place.
BactoGena Pylopass has been specifically designed for this area. The powder form allows application already in the mouth and throat before the ingredients continue towards the stomach. The combination of inactivated Lactobacillus reuteri DSM17648, organic acacia fibre and selected B vitamins is tailored to this field of use.
What does “inactivated” Lactobacillus reuteri mean?
Unlike live cultures, BactoGena Pylopass does not contain viable microorganisms. The strain Lactobacillus reuteri DSM17648 contained in the product is inactivated. This means that no live bacteria are administered, but rather structural components of the bacterium. This particular form differs significantly from conventional live cultures.

Why is the powder form special?
Many comparable products are available exclusively in capsule form. The powder form of BactoGena Pylopass allows use already in the mouth and throat area. The powder has a neutral taste and can be easily stirred into water.
What role do vitamin B2 and vitamin B12 play?
Vitamin B2 contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes, including the mucous membranes of the digestive tract. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. The combination of both vitamins complements the formulation from a nutritional perspective.
How can BactoGena Pylopass be combined?
Depending on individual needs, supplementation with additional products may be considered, for example:
- BallaststoffPur as an additional source of fibre
- ParaBiotik
- Vitamin C
