The composition in the product NatuGena Fisetin, contains a blend of important polyphenols from fisetin, quercetin, spermidin, resveratrol and green tea, to which many positive effects have been attributed in numerous studies.

Fisetin is a yellow pigment, within the polyphenols. It belongs as an oxidation product of fisetinidine, to the substance group of flavonoids. The flavonoids are a group of secondary plant substances, to which a large part of the flower pigments belong. Secondary plant constituents are substances produced by the plant to protect against bacteria, insects, moulds, UV light and viruses, among other things.

Quercetin is also a flavonoid found in many fruits and vegetables. Belongs to the natural yellow plant pigments from the group of polyphenols and flavonoids. Quercetin plays an important role in plant cells in protecting against oxidative stress and against pests and pathogens. In addition, flavonoids provide effective UV protection for plant cells. Quercetin is a component in the onion. A particularly high concentration of quercetin has been detected in the blossoms of the Japanese cord tree (Sophora japonica) from which we at NatuGena extract our quercetin.

Spermidin is a natural compound found in wheat germ. Spermidin is found in every cell of the body and can be produced by the organism itself through special intestinal bacteria. With age, the body's own production of spermidine decreases.

Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in various plants, especially in the skin of red grapes. Japanese knotweed extract provides particularly high levels of resveratrol.

Green tea provides the body with polyphenols, teein, catechin, theanine and bitter substances. Of particular note is the polyphenol epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), and the amino acid L-theanine, as valuable ingredients from green tea.
