The amino acid L-glutamine is a non-essential amino acid that can be produced by the body itself. L-glutamine is found in high concentration primarily in muscle cells. L-glutamine is the preferred nutrient for the cells lining the intestinal mucus wall.

DGL (licorice root with glycyrrhizinate removed) or also known as deglycyrrhizinated licorice contains the ingredient glycyrrhizin, which is extracted from licorice root. Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is used in many medicines and foods due to its taste, among other things as a sweetener.

Another ingredient in our Mucosa Repair is aloe vera from Aloe barbadensis. The aloe vera plant, native to tropical and subtropical regions, has long been used in a variety of ways in numerous cultures 

The red elm bark contains numerous dietary fibres, magnesium, calcium and sodium, vitamins A, B, C and K, as well as bitter, tannic and mucilaginous substances.
