L-glutamine is an amino acid that plays a role in various cellular functions and serves as a building block for tissues. The formula is further complemented with vitamin C, zinc, riboflavin (vitamin B2) and biotin (vitamin B7), selected specifically to support skin and mucous membrane structures. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin. Riboflavin and biotin contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes. Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
