NatuGena Phospholipid 4+1 Complex – A combination of five different phospholipids: phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylserine and phosphatidic acid. Contains the certified branded ingredient LeciFis® EXP lecithin. 150 vegan capsules for a 30-day supply.

  • Phospholipid complex with 5 components: Contains phosphatidylcholine, -ethanolamine, -inositol, -serine & phosphatidic acid – key structural components of cell membranes
  • LeciFis® EXP lecithin (non-GMO): premium lecithin from sustainable soy production, rich in phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylinositol
  • Inositol: Formerly known as “vitamin B8”, a component of biological membranes, particularly in the nervous syst
  • Sunflower lecithin: Plant-based source of phosphatidylserine
  • Produced in Germany: Exceptional purity and bioavailability for optimal nutrient uptake

What are phospholipids and why are they important?

Phospholipids, also known as lecithins, are fundamental building blocks of every cell membrane. They determine which substances can enter and leave the cell. Phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine, in particular, are central components of cell structure, found in both plant and animal membranes. Together, they form the flexible bilayer that surrounds every cell.

What role does inositol play in cell structures?

Inositol, previously referred to as vitamin B8 is a sugar alcohol and a natural component of cell membranes. It occurs in particularly high concentrations in the central nervous system. As part of phosphatidylinositol, it contributes to the natural diversity of phospholipids.

What makes phosphatidylserine special?

Phosphatidylethanolamines belong to the lipid group, more specifically to the phosphoglycerides. Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid-containing component of plant cell membranes derived from serine. In this product, it is sourced from sunflower lecithin and complements the complex with another naturally occurring component.

Why does the complex include multiple lecithin sources?

The combination of LeciFis® EXP (soy) and sunflower lecithin ensures a broad phospholipid profile, designed to provide a comprehensive supply of central cellular building blocks. Both sources are non-GMO and sustainably produced. Due to its lipophilic components, the Phospholipid 4+1 Complex is ideally suited for combination with fat-soluble micronutrients.

Recommended intake

5 capsules once a day. It is best to take them at least 30 minutes before or 90 minutes after a meal, with 250 ml of still, lukewarm water or, alternatively, with a teaspoon of omega-3 oil to increase bioavailability.

We work with the independent laboratory AgroLab, which we commission to perform microbiological and heavy metal tests.

In our microbiological testing, we measure the aerobic mesophilic plate count (total plate count), as well as the levels of Escherichia coli (E. coli), yeasts, Salmonella, molds, and staphylococci.

For heavy metals, we test for arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury in accordance with the limit values specified in Regulation (EU) 2023/915.
