What is PQQ and why is it considered a novel micronutrient?
PQQ, also known as methoxatin, is a vitamin-like compound that was first scientifically described in 2003. It occurs naturally in small amounts in foods such as green peppers, kiwis, green tea and tofu. Because of its structural characteristics, PQQ is being discussed in scientific circles as a potential new B vitamin. For use in food supplements, PQQ requires Novel Food approval. We use MGCPQQ® in our PQQ Activator – the only premium-grade raw material approved for use in Germany. MGCPQQ® is produced using a patented manufacturing process, with a purity of over 99% and free from allergens, GMOs and nanoparticles.
How does coenzyme Q10 complement the formula?
Coenzyme Q10 is a naturally occurring substance found in the mitochondria – the "powerhouses of the cells." It plays a role in cellular energy production. When combined with PQQ, it forms a well-balanced addition to micronutrient intake.
What are the benefits of our bioactive vitamin B6?
Our PQQ Activator is enhanced with bioactive vitamin B6. We use pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P-5-P) – the bioactive coenzyme form of vitamin B6. Unlike the commonly used pyridoxine, which must be converted in the body, P-5-P is directly available for all relevant metabolic processes. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system.

Vitamin E refers to a group of eight naturally occurring fat-soluble compounds produced exclusively by plants. In our PQQ Activator, we deliberately use alpha-tocopherol – the biologically most active form of vitamin E for the human body. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
