Chromium is one of the essential trace elements, it plays an important role in the body's sugar metabolism. After eating, the glucose obtained from carbohydrates is transported into the cell. Insulin is necessary for this, but chromium also has an active role in this process:
It acts here as a kind of door opener into the cell. If there is a lack of chromium, the sugar is not transported into the cell and the blood sugar rises, thus chromium contributes to the maintenance of a normal blood sugar level.

The trace element also supports the body in processing macronutrients (fats, proteins, carbohydrates) and converting them into energy.

In NatuGena Chromium there are two, complementary, chromium compounds. The highly bioavailable organic chromium picolinate and its inorganic compound chromium III chloride. Picolinate is the name of the organic picolinic acid. As a picolinate, chromium is particularly well absorbed by the body. Together with the -chloride, this results in 200µg per capsule, suitable for high-dose supplementation.

Our cell walls consist of lipids. The phospholipids contained thus act as binders and facilitate the transport of the trace element chromium into the cell walls. Gluten-free and vegan.
